Trader Joe's Blueberry Breakfast Biscuits

Finally! A new product that speaks to me! I should say that there's been a bunch of new products lately, but nothing really grabbed my attention. Am I really going to pay $5 for a box of teeny tiny healthy-ish, cardboard-tasting-to-some granola bars that I might possibly tear to shreds? Noooooo. I mean unless someone is dying for a review on those Kind Bar dupes. I say meh. Five dollars is a lot of money in some places in the world. And if you're a kid who gets $2 allowance a week. That was me yearssss ago.

The name got me. Blueberry breakfast biscuits. The alliteration! Blueberries! Breakfast! Biscuits! And never mind the fact that this is probably a Belvita dupe. It reminds me of my favorite baking show of late, the Great British Bake-off.

22 grams of whole grain! How exciting! I am definitely justified eating these for breakfast!

Trader Ming's Mildly Sweet & Spicy Beef & Broccoli

Brace yourselves for a completely unfair fight. Trader Ming's [Mildly Sweet & Spicy] Beef & Broccoli vs La Casa de Samdrew's Beef and Broccoli. It's a beef & broccoli showdown. Throw down if you prefer.

Trader Joe's Traditional Latkes

Another post-nightshift pick. There is something about working at night that makes me crave avocado toast and fried carbohydrates. I passed up the usual hash browns for these.

Trader Joe's Just the Clusters Vanilla Almond Granola Cereal and Chocolate Almond Granola Cereal

To make up for the infrequent postings around here, I bring you a two for one post! A double post! What a deal. I love deals. Who doesn't love a good deal.

Apparently, I am part of the generation that is partly responsible for the decline in cereal sales. Nobody is going out of business here - it's still a $10 billion dollar industry, but people have been sounding off (thank you NYTimes). I'm not sure how that happened considering that many of my contemporaries, myself included, lived on cereal during college.  Anyhow, we don't eat much cereal because A is mildly lactose intolerant and frankly intolerant of non-dairy milks too. So sad.

And for the record, this is a granola cereal that isn't just for the "crunchy granola" types. In fact, I think the crunchy granola types might eschew this because it's not healthy enough. No chia. No flax. No spinach. :P

Trader Joe's Blueberry Vanilla Chevre (Fresh Goat Cheese)

Nothing says springtime like goat cheese. Maybe. The weather around here feels more like winter, so is it spring? I have no idea.
